You are invited!
On Saturday June 20th, from 2-4pm, the Multi-Agency Partnership (MAP) is hosting an online celebration of music, poetry and story to celebrate World Refugee Day.
In a world where 70.8 million people are displaced and violence forces thousands of families to flee for their lives each day, our community is proud to stand with refugees and recognize their journeys and resilience.
With the theme “Distant but Together”, the celebration will recognize and honor the significant contribution of refugees to British Columbia as well as creating an online event that creates community – despite social distancing.
MOSAIC’s Refugee Settlement and Integration Program (RSIP) is a proud leader within MAP – A collective of refugee claimant serving organizations, people with lived refugee experience, the UN Refugee Agency, and multilateral levels of government.
