    MOSAIC paid tribute to 38 staff members for milestone anniversaries at the annual Employee Recognition Ceremony on March 8th. One hundred and fifty MOSAIC staff from all departments, and varying locations across Metro Vancouver showed up at Diamond Hall to celebrate their colleague’s years of service. Executive Director Eyob Naizghi hosted the event, with Board Chairperson Dr. Mehran Kaia making introductory remarks.

    On Thursday, March 2nd, 24 teams walked 11 km to raise $17,774 for the United Way. The teams began their (rainy!) 4-hour journey at the BC211 office on W. Hastings Street and concluded at the United Way office on Canada Way in Burnaby by noontime. There were 3 rest stations along the way, with the first stop at MOSAIC’s Headquarters on Commercial Drive.
