This June, your support for MOSAIC has the potential to create transformative change for newcomers and refugees to Canada through the Great Canadian Giving Challenge.
What is the Challenge? From June 1-30, every dollar donated to MOSAIC via a CanadaHelps donation form is an entry for MOSAIC to win a grand prize of $20,000 that will support newcomers and refugees who need it most. This unique opportunity means that any donation can have a huge impact.
“By coming together throughout the month of June and participating in the Great Canadian Giving Challenge, donors have the potential to create even more of an impact for newcomers and refugees,” said Sharon Butler, Director of Corporate Partnerships and Social Investment at MOSAIC.
This includes newcomers like Letbrhan and her son Rufael, 3, who received support from MOSAIC donors during the pandemic. Donations to the Great Canadian Giving Challenge will help many families like them: $50 provides a baby with diapers for three weeks, while $100 buys staple food items for a refugee family.
MOSAIC supports and impacts over 35,000 newcomers and refugees each year through programs and services, but none of this would be possible without support. Be part of this month’s Great Canadian Giving Challenge and donate today.
