Redirecting Youth Through Empowerment holds Spooky Sports event

On Thursday, October 26th, our Redirecting Youth Through Empowerment (RYTE) program held a Spooky Sports event, fostering connectivity and healthy engagement among youth, in collaboration with the RCMP at Kwantlen Park Secondary School in Surrey! After attending a discussion with a RCMP officer on physical activity and resiliency, a group of highly diverse youth joined us to play Bubble Soccer and learn more about developing balance as a life skill, building healthy relationships in the community, and remaining resilient in the face of adversity, all through the concept of sport.

Our Redirecting Youth Through Empowerment (RYTE) program offers at-risk youth ages 14-24 the opportunity to engage in activities that promote the development of pro-social skills and facilitate peer and community connections. To learn more, please visit mosaicbc.org/ryte.
