On August 17, participants of the Sun Yat-Sen University-UBC Sauder School of Business Public Administration Training Program paid a second visit to MOSAIC. The students wanted to find out more about organizations serving immigrant and refugee communities. The program is a professional development initiative for government officials in the Guangdong Province, in China. A visit to MOSAIC was specifically requested by the group due to positive feedback from the previous years’ cohort. Settlement and Employment staff provided the group with a tour of the main site in Vancouver, which was followed by a presentation and discussion on public policies as well as MOSAIC’s services and efforts protecting the rights and interests of immigrants and refugees.
