Call for Nominations: MOSAIC Board of Directors

MOSAIC is a registered charity serving immigrant and refugee communities in BC for the past 40 years. Supported by a board of directors, the organization manages a $30 million plus budget annually with more than 350 staff, 700 volunteers and 300 contractors. Services are delivered from 32 client-accessible sites. For more information about MOSAIC please click here.

The Nominations Committee is seeking qualified candidates with expertise and experience in the areas of finance, fundraising, revenue generation, business development and technology. However, we also encourage people with other competencies to apply.

MOSAIC’s Board of Directors is responsible for the overall management of the organization through its role in policy development and program evaluation. The board restricts its activities to the following:

  • Strategic planning
  • Determination of annual objectives and organizational outreach
  • Ensurance of financial stability
  • Response to significant community issues in the areas of settlement work

The Board of Directors meets 6 times per year. All of our board and committee members are volunteers. Without their support and their continued contribution of time and energy we couldn’t continue serving and empowering the immigrants and refugees to fully participate in the Canadian society.
