About this program

Are you feeling stressed, anxious, or depressed? Dealing with grief or divorce? We can help.

The Multicultural Clinical Counselling Program at MOSAIC is designed for individuals from all backgrounds and cultures who are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or life challenges, such as divorce, loss or grief. We help immigrants and refugees deal with various challenges, including the very specific challenges that come from integrating into Canada.

Immigrant and refugees bring their own understanding of what well-being means, based on their beliefs, religious or spiritual practices. Our goal is to help you improve your well-being and coping skills by building on your own strengths and beliefs.

Counselling can help

You can meet with a counsellor in a one-on-one or group setting to talk through your concerns, problems and challenges. The job of the counsellor is to help you understand the source of your challenges and to help you explore the choices available to you or to see new possibilities for change.

Our counselling services

MCCP services are provided by master’s level or doctoral students who are supervised by a registered psychologist. Services are offered in English. Other languages may be available through interpretation.
