About this program
Hope to Work (H2W) was a two-week program that helped refugees to Canada set career goals and plan how to achieve them. The program was part of a research project where 60 individuals were recruited, and 30 out of 60 randomly selected to participate in the program.
The program was offered twice – during the last two weeks of November 2016 and February 2017. Participants learnt new skills, improved their job search strategies and connected with four employers by touring their places of business and finding out about their hiring needs.
