About this program
Hope to Work (H2W) is a two-week program that helps refugees to Canada set career goals and plan how to achieve them. The program is part of a research project where 60 individuals will be recruited, and 30 out of 60 will be randomly selected to participate in the program. Individuals in the program may qualify to receive a training allowance for their participation. The rest of the group will receive an honorarium for completing research surveys.
The program will be offered twice – during the last two weeks of November 2016 and February 2017. Participants will learn new skills, improve their job search strategies and connect with four employers by touring their places of business and finding out about their hiring needs.
The program is currently full; we are not accepting any new participants.
