Childcare for Families in LINC Programs

We offer high-quality childcare, free to MOSAIC clients enrolled in our LINC classes. Our childcare is designed to support children who may still be learning English.

Our half-day programs offer children a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment. Our activities are designed for children to:

• Encourage curiosity
• Develop language skills

We also offer parent education programs about parenting practices and behaviours such as:

• Positive discipline techniques
• Age-appropriate child development skills and milestones
• Positive play between parents and children
• Locating and accessing community services and supports

As trained Early Childhood Educators, we can also identify children who may require extra support and intervention.

New children will be introduced gradually, to get used to the environment. Parents will participate in the gradual entry process.

Children can stay in the childcare for as long as the parent is registered in a class or until the child goes to Kindergarten.

Childcare is only available for parents and caregivers who are registered and attending LINC classes. You can request childcare when registering for any LINC class. If childcare is full, you will be placed on a waitlist and called when a space is available.
