The MY&SR Project is an initiative that addresses teen relationship violence by promoting safe and healthy relationships, open and honest communication, and family closeness. The project is specifically designed to respond to the unique needs of newcomer families from diverse ethno-cultural communities by prioritizing cultural sensitivity and language accessibility.
Resilience BC Anti-Racism Network – Surrey/White Rock Spoke
The Resilience BC Anti-Racism Network was formed in 2020 and offers a province wide approach to connect communities with information, supports and training they need to respond to, and prevent incidents of, racism and hate. MOSAIC currently acts as the Spoke for Surrey/White Rock.
Community Action and Resources Empowering Seniors (CARES)
MOSAIC’s CARES Social Prescribing for Seniors provides an innovative service for older adults who require support connecting to their community or learning to address their health and well-being needs – Social Prescribing works alongside clinical treatments to address people’s needs in a holistic way.
Social and Civic Engagement Project
SCENE (Social and Civic Engagement for Newcomers and Immigrants) provides newcomers and immigrants with pathways to equitable social and civic engagement opportunities by providing trainings, mentorship, nomination support, access to open positions, and guidance post placements.
